Spring means new life blooming and new trends to inspire us. Here’s my round-up of the hottest trends that you can wear for work or play. Micro skirts Skirts this season are mostly either super-long or very short. Bold monochrome If a bold skirt isn't exciting enough for you, why not try a statement colour all-over. Fresh and minimal luxe If bold monochrome isn't your thang then this trend may be for you. Y2K revival The noughties are back! Take your pick from low-waisted trousers or skirts, butterfly tops, denim all-over, crop tops, bootcut jeans, belly chains, halter necks, cargo pants, handkerchief tops and more.  Blumarine, courtesy of Vogue 6. Cut-outs Cut-outs have been popular for the last few years and, for now, they are here to stay. Sexy power-dressing Take the empowerment of tailored garments and combine them with sex appeal for an exciting combination. If this feels too much for the daytime then try this trend on a night out. This time the colour and print can be anything you like, as long as the top and trousers or skirt are two halves of a set  9. Boxy blazers For more of a relaxed or androgynous alternative to the sexy power-dressing trend, why not try an oversized blazer. Biker jackets Whether slim-fitting or oversized, denim, leather or animal-friendly pleather, the biker jacket has returned. Biker jackets combining leather AND denim are a fresh take on the classic.
